Hello, my name is Kyung Suk Lee and welcome to my website. I am a MA Candidate in Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences (QMSS) at Columbia University in the City of New York. The program led my journey into venturing data science. Through the program I have learned relevant knowledge on data wrangling, data visualization, web scraping, text analysis, exploratory data analysis, and machine learning.

I was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. I received B.S. in Finance and UMNR. in Economics at Smeal College of Business, M.S. in Strategy and International Business at Seoul National University Business School.

My research interests lie in the area of boundary spanning, organizational strategy, innovation, knowledge, gender, and social network. My first master’s thesis from Seoul National University Business School that examines the relationship between corporate divestiture and innovation performance was recently published at Sustainability in the special issue Business Innovation and Sustainable Development.
