- Co-Founder of R Story
- Participated in TOP University Sprint administered by U.S. Census Bureau & U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (Fall 2020)
- The Opportunity Project is a White House initiative that started in 2016 to encourage the development of technologies that use federal and local data to empower communities
- As a part of a product development sprint with The Opportunity Project, I have worked as a member of a Columbia tech-team along with five colleagues in Columbia University
- The product R Story was created for the sole purpose of aiding rural communities (or economic development directors) to gain access to various federal data in one online-platform to implement solutions to support sustainable economic growth
- Our product has been selected for presentation at 2020 The Opportunity Project Demo Week
- R Story is showcased in The Opportunity Project website
- We have worked closely with Meaghan Kennedy, who was our product advisor. She is a founder at Orange Sparkle Ball. Our product was recently introduced at one of the Orange Sparkle Ball’s blog.
- We are currently seeking funding to support product development. R Story is aimed for launching in summer 2021. We are also looking for partnerships from organizations who work with communities that might benefit from the tool.
